According to
Paul Lindsley, General Manager of the Michigan facility, potential homeowners
are encouraged to contact their local Ritz-Craft homebuilder to set up a tour: “We
strongly encourage everyone to consult with an approved Ritz-Craft builder
prior to your visit. This is to ensure that all of your needs are met, as your
local builder will be able to provide answers to any questions you may have
about your specific building site."
These factory
tours are aimed at educating the public on the advantages of custom, system-built
homes from Ritz-Craft. By building homes in a climate controlled manufacturing
facility, Ritz-Craft is able to incorporate many money-saving benefits for each
homebuyer. Tour participants will get a first-hand look at the system-building
technologies used by Ritz-Craft to engineer custom homes that are stronger and
more energy efficient. By operating indoors, issues relating to weather are
removed from the building process and the entire home can be constructed in
about one third of the time it would take for an on-site construction
project.
Ritz-Craft has
independent authorized building partners with model homes across 29 states and
into Canada, making Ritz-Craft an industry leader in the system-built industry.
Established in 1954 and headquartered in Mifflinburg, PA, Ritz-Craft remains a
privately held company with additional manufacturing facilities in Michigan and
North Carolina. In 2013, Ritz-Craft has been recognized with four awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home
Design by the Building Systems Council of the NAHB.
In addition
to homebuilding, Ritz-Craft has vertically integrated to include a cabinet
manufacturer, Legacy Crafted Cabinets, and a home transportation company,
Ritz-Trans. For more information about the Ritz-Craft family of companies,
