The New Salem Cape

by Myles Biggs

Allow us to introduce our newest home, "The New Salem Cape." The main level of this Cape Cod style home features a luxurious master suite as well as an open kitchen, dining and living space, in its well-utilized 1,794 square feet of living space.

The on-site finished 994 square foot upper level adds two additional bedrooms, a full bath and a large flex space - perfect for entertaining guests or for use as a home office.

The interior of this home features a massive walk-in closet in the master bedroom, a unique his-and-her vanity sink configuration, a separate soaking tub and Ritz-Craft’s exclusive Infinity Walk-In shower package.

The exterior offers classic curb appeal and includes a painted 6-light front door, board & batten accent siding, louvered shutters and mantles over all windows and the door on the front door side.

Take a look at the floor plan and tell us about your favorite room in a comment below!

Hi Diana,

This was our House of the Month for November 2013. Since it is not a part of our published floor plan collections, it cannot be found in the searchable floor plan area of the website.

However, by clicking this link http://www.ritz-craft.com/data/streamfile.aspx?id=NzYxMzI%3d&name=Previous+HOTM+Flyers.pdf you will be able to download a PDF file of the past year of House of the Month plans.

You can then contact the Ritz-Craft home builder nearest you for up-to-date pricing information.

Thanks for your interest in Ritz-Craft!

Do you have any model modular homes for sale, that can be transported to the buyer's vacant lot?

We hope to be able to order a reverse floor plan of this house next year! Can dormers be added to the front roof? Can a full length front porch be site built? What are the upper level dimensions knee wall to knee wall? Thanks!

With this Cape and others, do the prices I have been given by my local Ritz Craft Builder include a finished upper level ? Or is it extra cost to have the upper level finished on site?

Casey,

Pricing varies from builder to builder, with some choosing to include it and others charging for it separately. To know for sure, please consult directly with your builder. Thank you for your interest in Ritz-Craft!
