Manufacturing Plant Tour
Consider this scenario when you make a decision regarding factory built housing. When you purchase an automobile, would you call the manufacturer and have the parts delivered to your garage or would you prefer that they assemble the components prior to delivery? The answer to that question is what has lead to the inception of factory built housing and the advantages gained through controlled environment production of all products, including homes.
Consider the following manufactured home advantages as you take a photo tour of our production plants:
Controlled Environments.
Building in a controlled environment eliminates a majority of the weather related considerations inherent to the construction industry. Ask any builder what it is like to build a home during any weather season and they can provide you with a list of reasons why precipitation, heat and cold detrimentally effect their efforts.
Subcontractor Control.
Any builder will tell you, getting subcontractors to the site within the time frame associated with the project schedule is an effort in and of itself. Factory built housing places all the subcontractors under the same roof at the same time. Doing so eliminates 90% of the site construction required. Therefore, 90% of the scheduling and subcontractor management is eliminated as well.
Cabinet Shop Tour
The saying goes, "If you want something done right, do it yourself." Ritz-Craft has applied this theory to the fabrication of their kitchen and bath cabinets. Ritz-Craft has always manufactured a limited line of cabinets to be installed in select lines of housing products. Recently, Ritz-Craft has made a full-scaled commitment to cabinet fabrication by engineering a complete line of KCMA certified cabinets that will be offered in all Ritz-Craft product lines. To complete the commitment, Ritz-Craft purchased and rennovated a 75,000 square foot manufacturing plant which it now dedicates to cabinet production.
