Ritz-Craft Corporation
Quality Tour

One of our three primary business goals (see the "Management Message") deals with product quality. Our ability to deliver quality products has been demonstrated by our longevity in the construction business. To ensure the continuance of this commitment, Ritz-Craft maintains the following quality control measures.
Production Foremen.
These individuals supervise the labor efforts associated with the construction of your home. They are required to physically sign a document that defines completion of each task associated with the construction process before the module can leave their station of responsibility.
Plant Managers.
These individuals supervise the focus of the Production Foreman. It is the Plant Manager's job to perform inspections and to provide feedback to foreman and laborers to ensure that their efforts are of satisfactory nature.
Quality Control Inspectors.
These individuals are, for lack of a better term, the company "watch dogs." Their job is to continuously monitor the production process in search of defects in workmanship, code compliance and/or safety issues. Their line of reporting leads directly to Ritz-Craft's President and CEO.
Third Party Inspectors.
Each of the above quality control personnel are employees of Ritz-Craft. Some people may feel that a conflict of interest exists as their primary responsibility is to the company. While we can say that this is not the case, we can also prove it by extending our quality control efforts to include inspectors that are not employed by Ritz-Craft. These "third party" inspectors are representatives of the construction code controlling authorities. They require Ritz-Craft to follow documented quality procedures. They report directly to the controlling authorities. Their influence extends to the point that Ritz-Craft cannot deliver a product until it has been released by the third party inspectors.
