Ritz-Craft Corporation will unveil a 2700 sq. ft. Craftsman style ranch named the Palmetto, at booth # LotD05 at the International Builders Show in Orlando Feb. 13-16. The design was created by Frank Betz Associates Inc., who is known as one of the nation’s top design firms, providing trend setting and award winning stock and custom plans to builders and consumers nationwide. Paul D. John, President and CEO said “The rustic appearance of the Craftsman style harkens back to the hands on craftsmanship of the-turn-of-the-century Arts & Crafts period. To add visual interest to the elevations Frank Betz used brackets under the eaves, cedar shakes in the gables and a columned trellis”. A shed dormer dresses up the front-loaded garage and the garage doors face the front door of the home, to create an inviting courtyard and 70’deep x 66’ wide footprint. The home is targeted toward the 55 and older buyer or move up buyer looking for single floor living.

Eric W. John, Vice President explained “The Palmetto will be erected in six off-site built sections and a number of ship loose gables, hip panels, saddle panels and shed roof dormers. The square footage doesn’t include the unfinished 2nd floor space or unfinished space above the garage.
