Ritz-Craft Corporation has made a solid committment to the Southeastern housing industry by starting construction of Ritz-Craft's 5th modular manufacturing plant at the Hamlet NC site. The site has been cleared and excavated. The erection of the steel super structure began the week of March 14th that will form the perimeter of a 200,000 square foot modular super plant.
Ritz-Craft Coropration brings over five decades of manufacturing experiance to the Southeast housing market. Prior to beginning the project, the company officials first interviewed Southeast-area builders to determine the needs and wants of home buyers within it's four-state market (Virgina, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia). Using this information, Ritz-Craft's management team and engineers designed a facility that would be capable of producing the floor plans and interior designs builders and customers desire. By building one of the largest modular plants in the world, production crews will be able to manufacture homes with the specifications and materials most requested by Southeastern builders.
