Ritz-Craft’s Plant #2 Ships 10,000th Home

Mifflinburg, PA – On July 21st the 10,000th home built in Ritz-Craft’s plant #2 rolled off the production line in Mifflinburg, PA. Ritz-Craft has built over 34,000 homes in its five manufacturing plants since the 52-year-old company was reestablished under the current ownership in 1976.
“Our plants have had phenomenal growth and success that I attribute to the work ethic of our people and the unique elevations, amenities and marketing services offered by Ritz- Craft”, said Paul D. Ritz-Craft features eleven distinct product lines in five plant locations with over 450 standard floor plans. Ritz-Craft also owns their own cabinet facility called Legacy Crafted Cabinetry, where they build custom kitchens for all their product lines. “We also build total custom floor plans in our plants every day”, said Eric John, Vice President. “The reason we can build custom floor plans and special amenities like rounded walls, tray ceilings, 9-foot ceilings and total custom cabinetry is because of the outstanding work ethic of the local workforce and our unique hiring and employee training programs” Eric said.
Taking delivery of the 10,000th home was Tom Alvarez, John Alvarez Sr., Jason Alvarez and Rhonda Johnson of John Alvarez and Sons in Hudson, NY. John Alvarez and Sons are a 46-year old company that is considered the premiere builder of systems built modular homes in the Hudson, NY area. Alvarez has a strong 31-year-old partnership with Ritz-Craft, consistently building over 100 homes per year and displaying 9 Ritz-Craft model homes at their sales center. “We expect the company we do business with to work hard to provide the best products, amenities and services to our customers”, said Tom Alvarez. “Ritz-Craft has always been committed to doing that, and they do it better than anyone, because their people care.
